PHOENIXVILLE – The Phoenixville Recreation Center is officially open at 501 Franklin Ave. and ready to provide residents with a state-of-the-art facility for a variety of uses.

The building includes a large gymnasium with a basketball court and walking track, two preschool classrooms, office space for the recreation department, two multipurpose rooms, and group exercise rooms.

Construction began in March 2021, and the building was ready for use by borough residents this spring.

The Phoenixville Borough Council and the Phoenixville Borough Recreation Department recently held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the facility.
