How the device of the washing vacuum cleaner works

1. Special container – fill with water and detergents.
2. The second tank is for dirty water.

The principle of operation of washing vacuum cleaners:

• the tank is filled with running water;
• using a special nozzle, clean water is sprayed onto the surface, after which the dust suction mode is switched on together with water into a specially designed tank;
• for cleaning fabric surfaces, a special cleaning agent is added to the water (the proportions are indicated in the instructions). The pressure of the air flow created by the device makes it possible to clean carpets to the full depth of the pile;
• when using the unit in dry cleaning mode, the garbage is collected in a bag (if provided in the design) or a waste water tank, which is also a filter. At the same time, the air, passing through the filter, is purified. This mode is used when cleaning surfaces that are sensitive to moisture.

Peculiarities

One of the structural elements of the device – nozzles, come in a set of 5 pieces:

• designed for washing the floor, cleaning the carpet;
• designed for cleaning upholstered furniture;
• necessary for collecting garbage from hard-to-reach, narrow places;
• used for cleaning polished wooden surfaces;
• used in glass cleaning.

It is important to pay attention to the length of the power cord and the function of automatically winding and placing it inside the case.

The washing vacuum cleaner has a large number of advantages, which include:

1. Ease and speed when cleaning dirt from horizontal surfaces;
2. Possibility of dry cleaning and removal of spilled liquids.
3. Humidification and air filtration is relevant for people suffering from allergic reactions and asthma. When cleaning, dust enters the container with water, and is not sprayed.
4. Washing vertical surfaces and upholstered furniture.
5. Clearing small sewer blockages.

Despite the obvious advantages, it is impossible to call the indicated household appliances universal.

The disadvantages of such washing vacuum cleaners include:

1. A washing vacuum cleaner will not remove dirt from surfaces covered with thick pile.
2. After cleaning the carpet or parquet, moisture will still remain.
3. Immediately after cleaning the room, you need to wash the vacuum cleaner itself. This procedure is mandatory and takes 15-20 minutes.
4. These units are bulky and heavy, which complicates the process of cleaning and storing the device, especially in a small apartment.
5. The cost is quite high.
6. Compared to conventional vacuum cleaners – high energy costs.

How to use a washing vacuum cleaner

To prevent it from failing, you need to follow a number of rules for operation and storage.

1. Before you start cleaning, it is worth inspecting the appliance cord and hose for any mechanical damage. If damage is found, it is not advisable to use a vacuum cleaner, and sometimes even dangerous.
2. When adding detergent to the tank, the proportions must be observed – they are indicated in the instructions and are individual for each.
3. During cleaning, do not cover with anything, pull the power cord, pull the cord and hose excessively, leave the vacuum cleaner turned on unattended.

After the end of the washing vacuum cleaner, you must:

• turn off the device and release the pressure in the water sprayers;
• drain dirty water from the tank;
• rinse the device with running water;
• dry the vacuum cleaner by removing the cover or moving it to the side.

The washing vacuum cleaner is strictly forbidden to operate:

1. In a room with flammable gases.
2. On open air.
3. For cleaning hot, burning or smoking objects.
4. For cleaning dangerous liquids, unknown substances.
5. In the presence of even slight damage to the mains cable, hose or other mechanisms of the device.
6. More than 1.5 hours without stopping.

Precautionary measures

Like any other household appliance, a washing vacuum cleaner requires precautions when working with it.

In addition to the fact that its mechanisms cannot be touched with wet hands, the owner of the vacuum cleaner should exclude:

• contact of hair, clothes, various parts of the body with moving parts and mechanisms of the vacuum cleaner;
• presence of children, animals in the cleaned room;
• the movement of the device itself along the power cord;
• closing holes with foreign objects;
• cord contact with sharp, hot objects;
• clamping the power cord by the door;

Faults

Regardless of the brand and cost of the vacuum cleaner, there are a number of faults inherent in all of these devices.

1. During cleaning, water periodically stops flowing to the sprayer. In this case, the problem is with the water pump, or the button responsible for spraying water. If this malfunction occurs, it is worth checking the contact connections of the wires with the pump and with the button that supplies water.
2. After cleaning, it is not possible to wind the electrical cord. This problem occurs due to a breakdown of the spring mechanism (or the spring is stretched), with the help of which the electric cord is drawn into the vacuum cleaner. You can fix this malfunction yourself if the spring is weakened, otherwise you should contact the service center specialists.
3. Does not turn on and a hum is heard, or noise, whistle is heard during operation. The reason for this is the breakdown of the motor bearing, which occurs due to overheating, moisture getting on the motor, foreign objects getting inside the hose. To diagnose and eliminate this breakdown, you must contact the service specialists.
4. The washing vacuum cleaner works, however, it weakly sucks up dirt, the engine of the device is noisier than usual. This problem is caused by objects getting stuck inside the hose. You can remove such an object by attaching a hose to the outlet. If the design does not allow this operation to be performed, then the hose can be cleaned independently, for example, with a long rail with a rounded end or a wire with a hook at the end.

1. Hose damage or rupture. This breakdown is common, it appears due to improper operation: during cleaning, it is pulled by the hose, or the hose is abruptly removed after use. Improper storage, in which the hose is kinked, will also result in damage or rupture. It is worth remembering that the hose should not be pinched or kinked both during operation and during storage.

A washing vacuum cleaner will be a real helper for owners of houses and apartments with a large area, especially if there are a lot of carpet, tile, stone coverings, for pet owners.
