Xiaomi held a presentation of the Redmi Note 12 line, which included four models: standard, Pro, Pro + and Extreme. Here’s what you need to know about these devices.

Redmi Note 12 Extreme

The top modification from the line, which received a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for Dolby Vision and a brightness of up to 900 nits. It runs on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1080 processor. Both Pro models also received a combination of screen and chipset.

One of the highlights of the smartphone is the 200MP camera. This is the latest 1/1.4 size Samsung ISOCELL HPX module. He can shoot video in 8K @ 30 fps and supports Super QPD autofocus. It will be possible to save images in three options: 4080 × 3060, 8160 × 6120 or 16320 × 12240 pixels.

The camera received smart filters that mimic film shooting. They use Xiaomi AI algorithms to adapt colors and add realistic image artifacts. The main camera is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2MP depth sensor. The 16 MP front camera is located in a hole in the screen.

The 4300 mAh battery supports 210 W wired charging, with which the battery replenishes 100% capacity in 9 minutes. This is the most powerful charger among smartphones: vivo offers a maximum of 200W, Oppo – 150W.

Other features of the smartphone include an NFC module, Dolby Atmos surround sound and a 3.5 mm headphone jack (it is located on top).

Redmi Note 12 Extreme will be available in a single 8/256 GB modification at a price of 2,399 yuan (≈20,400 rubles). It will go on sale in China on October 31st.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+

This is almost a complete copy of the Extreme model, the differences come down to the battery and price. The battery capacity here has been increased to 5,000 watts, but “only” 120 watts of charging is supported. With it, the smartphone is fully charged in 19 minutes.

The release is also on October 31, the prices are as follows:

• 8/256 GB – 2,199 yuan (≈18,700 rubles);
• 12/256 GB – 2,399 yuan (≈20,400 rubles).

Redmi Note 12 Pro

Unlike older models, Note 12 Pro received a 50 MP Sony IMX766 camera. This is the flagship optical image stabilization module, which is complemented by the same additional 8 and 2 megapixel cameras as in the other two models.

The 5,000mAh battery supports 67W fast charging. At the same time, the smartphone has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs only 187 g.

Like older models, Redmi Note 12 Pro will also go on sale on October 31, the prices are as follows:

• 6/128 GB – 1,699 yuan (≈14,400 rubles);
• 8/128 GB – 1,799 yuan (≈15,300 rubles);
• 8/256 GB – 1,999 yuan (≈17,000 rubles);
• 12/256 GB – 2,199 yuan (≈18,700 rubles).

Also, Redmi will traditionally offer discounts at the start of sales. The timing of the release of the international version of these smartphones has not yet been reported.

Redmi Note 12

At the end of the presentation of new smartphones, the base Note 12 was also shown. It received an OLED display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. charging 33 watts.

The smartphone received a headphone jack and IP53 moisture protection, the presence of NFC is not specified.

Redmi Note 12 will go on sale on October 31 at a price of 1,199 yuan (≈10,200 rubles) for the 6/128 GB model.
