China launches Honor Play 40 Plus, the latest affordable 5G smartphone. Modification with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory will cost only 1,199 yuan (≈10,200 rubles).
The device is equipped with a 6.74-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Processor – MediaTek Dimensity 700 (7 nm), which can be supplemented with 6 or 8 GB of RAM. Battery – 6000 mAh with 22.5 W charging.
At the back of the smartphone, there are two cameras: a 50 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel one for measuring the depth of field of the frame. For selfies, a modest 5-megapixel module is provided in the teardrop-shaped cutout of the screen. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side face.
Honor Play 40 Plus supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou. The device is based on Android 12 with the Magic UI 6.1 shell. The start of sales will take place at the end of the month.
