Before building a foldable iPhone, Apple plans to enter the flexible device market with a foldable iPad in 2024, according to analysts at CCS Insight. This will be a kind of test pen, writes MacRumors.
Ben Wood, head of research at CCS Insight, said that it doesn’t make sense for Apple to make a foldable iPhone in the current environment and that the company will avoid this trend until the release of the tablet.
According to credible analyst Ross Young, Apple is already testing a foldable iPad display around 20 inches in size. True, he does not expect the release of this novelty until 2026 or even 2027. Apple is collaborating with LG to create foldable panels and ultra-thin screen protectors. Several variations of the tablet are currently in the works, one of which can replace the iPad mini.
Also recently, there were rumors on the Web that Apple is testing foldable E-ink displays.
