Xiaomi launches Civi 2 smartphone with iPhone 14 Pro style cutout

Xiaomi held another presentation where it introduced the Civi 2 smartphone. This is a new model in the line of thin and light devices – the thickness of its case was only 7.23 mm and weighs 171.8 grams.
The main feature of the device was the display with a notch in the style of Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro. In the elongated hole, two 32 megapixel selfie cameras scattered – basic and wide-angle (100 °).
The main camera is triple, with sensors of 50 MP (Sony IMX766, OIS), 20 MP (wide-angle, Sony IMX376K) and 2 MP (macro).
The screen itself has a 10-bit OLED matrix with a diagonal of 6.55 inches, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The heart of the device is the new sub-flagship Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip, complemented by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory. Battery – 4,500 mAh with 67 W charging.
Other features include: 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, linear vibration motor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an IR transmitter. The smartphone is based on Android 12 with MIUI 13. Xiaomi Civi 2 will cost from 2,399 yuan (≈19,500 rubles).
