Razer has announced its latest audio accessory: the Leviathan V2 X compact soundbar. This is a more budget-friendly version of the Leviathan V2, released earlier in the year. Its characteristics are less impressive, but it is easier to provide food, and the price tag is 2.5 times less.

Inside the new version are two full-range speakers and two passive radiators for powerful stereo sound. Razer claims it can reach 90dB at a meter away from the soundbar. Unlike the standard V2, there is no subwoofer and THX Spatial Audio support, so you should not expect surround sound from the device.

Bluetooth and USB-C are used for connection. Moreover, USB-C is used for charging, which is a big plus for saving space under the table: the standard version uses a massive charger with an external power supply. True, the cable will need a powerful one, otherwise it will affect the sound.

There is also Razer Chroma RGB lighting with 14 customizable zones. Light mode is also present. The LED strip is located at the bottom, so the light will bounce off the table.

The Razer Leviathan V2 X will be available on September 28 for $100. By comparison, the Leviathan V2 costs $250.
