Pre-orders for MacBooks with M2 chips opened in Russia

re:Store has announced that it is open for pre-orders for the MacBook Air and Pro laptops with M2 processors introduced in June. An application for the purchase can be left on the store’s website. Later, new items should appear at M.Video, Eldorado and Citylink.
Given the fact that Apple does not officially supply its devices to Russia, these sales will likely be realized through parallel imports. This is partly confirmed by the greatly increased prices:
- MacBook Air 8/256 GB – 139,990 rubles;
- MacBook Pro 8/256 GB – 159,990 rubles;
- MacBook Pro 8/512 GB – 179,990 rubles.
For comparison, in Europe, the MacBook Air costs from 1,499 euros (≈88,600 rubles), and the Pro version starts from 1,599 (≈95,900 rubles).
Sales of MacBooks with M2 processors will begin in re:Store on August 22, and new items should appear in Citylink by September.
