In our selection, we have collected a dozen TVs in the budget price segment, trying to balance between picture quality, size and modern “smart” functions so that everyone can find a model that fits their budget and taste.

Satellite 24H9100T

Opening our top is a small and fairly simple HD-TV Satelit 24H9100T, which is perfect for use in the kitchen / country house / on the road.

Thanks to its compact body, it does not require a lot of installation space, and compatibility with the VESA 75 mounting system further expands its installation possibilities.

The TV has built-in DVB-T2, DVB-C tuners and a 24-inch matrix with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

Useful features of the model: connecting USB drives and connecting the TV itself to other sources via a standard HDMI cable.

In general, this is a simple and small device, the main plus of which is a very low price.

ON UA24HD19T2S

A small but “smart” TV from the Japanese company AKAI. The UA24HD19T2S has a 24-inch LCD matrix that corresponds to the most popular diagonal of monitors.

This model is a combination of reasonable price and internal features. The TV has a Smart TV running Android 9.0, and Wi-Fi and Ethernet are used for communication, which allows you to connect to the network and watch any movies online.

In addition to the possibility of connecting to the Internet, the TV has a built-in tuner, ready to work according to DVB-T2 and DVB-C standards.

ERGO 32DHT5100

The price of the ERGO 32DHT5100 is comparable to the previous model on our list, but there are two differences: it has a noticeably larger diagonal, but no “smart” features.

The manufacturer installed a 32-inch VA matrix with a fairly high contrast ratio of 3500:1 in this model.

In practice, this is felt in high-contrast scenes with deep black levels in the image.

The TV is also equipped with digital and analog tuners and a USB port.

According to the set of characteristics, this is the optimal device for simple TV viewing without the need to connect to the network.

Liberton 32TP1HDT

The Liberton 32TP1HDT has the same diagonal and resolution as the previous model, but in addition to that there is already a Smart TV. Also, the TV has a good VA matrix with a maximum brightness of 200 nits and a contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Thanks to the presence of wired and wireless communications, the TV is universal: it can be connected to the network to watch movies from the Internet, and use a digital or cable tuner.

Thanks to such versatility, it can be recommended as a very budget, but working device for the country and the home.

AKAI UA32HD22T2S

The characteristics of the AKAI UA32HD22T2S are similar to the previous model, but the matrix technology is different. If Liberton uses VA, then IPS is installed here. It has comparatively lower contrast, but better image quality in general.

The model is also equipped with Smart TV based on Android 11 and Wi-Fi with Ethernet. Smart functions significantly expand the functionality of modern TVs, allowing you to easily find and consume content that is interesting right now.

It is also worth noting the modern design – the TV has practically no frames on the sides and above the screen.

Hoffson A40HD300T2

Hoffson A40HD300T2 is a budget TV with a 40-inch matrix. The model is advantageously distinguished by a combination of a large diagonal and “standard” FullHD resolution at an extremely affordable price.

Its VA matrix has a contrast ratio of 4000:1 at a maximum brightness of 250 nits, which provides good picture quality in contrast and dark scenes, without highlights and with a deep black level.

Among the shortcomings, it is worth highlighting the lack of Smart TV and network connectivity. For optimal home use, it is advisable to purchase a media player.

AKA UA40LEP1T2

AKAI UA40LEP1T2 is a simple 40-inch TV for watching digital TV of DVB-T2 and DVB-C standards.

The manufacturer has installed a VA matrix with FullHD resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The matrix has a high contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a brightness of 200 nits. This is enough for comfortable viewing of movies and series, but the brightness may not be enough under the sun.

Also, the TV is equipped with 8 W stereo speakers each with Dolby Digital Sound technology.

On the negative side, the model also did not receive a Smart TV and any network connectivity options. So that this is not a problem, connect a media player or computer to the TV.

KIVI 32F740LB

KIVI 32F740LB is a “smart” TV with a small diagonal and high image quality.

The manufacturer did not chase a large size, but instead paid attention to the quality of the matrix itself. With a diagonal of 32 inches and FullHD resolution, the screen has a contrast ratio of 6000:1 with a brightness of 300 nits. These are quite high indicators, as for an LCD TV.

Thanks to them, it is comfortable to watch movies both in a completely dark room – there will be no lights on the screen, and on a sunny day – the brightness will be enough.

The model is also equipped with Smart TV functions and a full set of communications: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet. These capabilities will help the owner of the TV to easily access the network, connect and control the device from the phone.

AKAI TV43G21S

A large diagonal, “smart” functionality and the ability to communicate not only with digital television, but also with the Internet are distinctive features of the AKAI TV43G21S.

The TV has a 43-inch LCD matrix with FullHD resolution, the Smart TV functionality is implemented on the basis of the Android 9.0 operating system, and there is Dolby Digital Sound technology.

In general, the model has balanced parameters for a budget universal device. This TV can be used without external players and sound systems.

AKAI UA43UHD22T2S

AKAI UA43UHD22T2S is the most expensive, but also the most interesting TV in our selection. This is one of the most balanced and functionally rich solutions in its price category. The TV has a large diagonal of 43 inches, high resolution 4K and Smart TV.

The matrix of the model is made using VA technology, has a high contrast level of 3000:1. Among the shortcomings, we can single out a low level of brightness – only 200 nits, which may not be enough on a sunny day.

And the short response time – only 7 ms, shows that the TV is quite suitable for ordinary games on a set-top box or PC.
