At MWC 2017, an updated model of the TAB S series was shown – and this time, design is the driving force here.

Now its thickness is 6 mm, and the weight is a full 429 grams. Only practical colors are used – silver and black, and also with protective glass from the front and back of the tablet. Most likely, it will be smeared from all sides, but no one has removed the cover yet.

The novelty still has the same 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 × 1536. Super AMOLED paired with HDR video support makes the picture even more realistic and saturated with bright colors.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, familiar to us from flagship smartphones, is responsible for performance. The smartphone has 4 GB of RAM, which will please mobile gamers. Built-in data storage is only 32 GB, but with MicroSD support up to 256 GB.

You can start working with the new Android 7.0, which has an updated software package from Samsung.

The front camera comes with a 5-megapixel matrix and f/2.2 aperture. The 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus and f/1.9 aperture can record 4K video at 30 fps.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has acquired support for the S Pen stylus, which is already included and ready to work. It’s a pity that there is no separate slot for it in the tablet. Here, there are magnets for it on the side face.

In case you forgot your tablet, but you really need to get data from it, we use Samsung Flow. With the help of biometric authentication in wireless mode, the system will transfer the files you need to connected devices.

And the cool thing is that the keyboard does not require pairing via Bluetooth or charging your battery. This will definitely extend the autonomy of your tablet. The manufacturer claims video playback up to 12 hours due to a 6000 mAh battery. And with USB Type-C, the tablet charges faster, so it will almost always be ready for work.
