A few days before the presentation of smart watches Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, detailed specifications and images of devices appeared on the Web.

According to the WinFuture portal, three models will be available to customers: 40 and 44 mm Watch 5, as well as 45 mm Watch 5 Pro.

• The 40mm version of Watch 5 will come with a 1.19-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 396×396 pixels, while the 44mm version of Watch 5 and 45mm Watch 5 Pro will come with a 1.36-inch panel with resolution 450×450 pixels.
• The thickness of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will be 9.8 mm, and the weight will be 28.7 and 33.5 grams, depending on the size of the display. At the same time, the Watch 5 Pro will be 10.5 mm thick and weigh 46.5 grams.

• The display in all versions is protected by a sapphire crystal. The case of Watch 5 Pro is made of titanium.
• The devices will be equipped with last year’s dual-core Samsung Exynos W920 processor. The amount of internal memory is up to 16 GB. Each watch variant has a built-in GPS and NFC receiver, as well as optional LTE support via eSIM.
• Battery life is up to 50 hours for 40mm and 44mm variants with 284mAh or 410mAh batteries. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a 590mAh battery with up to 80 hours of battery life. All models support wireless charging up to 10W.

• A new sensor has appeared on the back of the watch, the purpose of which has not yet been reported (perhaps measuring body temperature). Next to it is an optical sensor for measuring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and taking ECG data.

New items will be presented in various colors. The 40mm watch will be available in gold, black and purple, the 44mm Watch 5 will be available in blue, black and white, and the Watch 5 Pro will be available in black and grey.

The prices of devices are also known (versions without LTE):

• Galaxy Watch 5 40 mm – 299 euros (≈18,900 rubles);
• Galaxy Watch 5 44 mm – 329 euros (≈20,800 rubles);
• Galaxy Watch 5 Pro – 469 euros (≈29,600 rubles).

Modifications with LTE will cost 40-50 euros more. The announcement is expected on August 10, along with folding smartphones Fold and Flip.
